Manage and oversee the importation of all goods imported from outside KSA (such as raw material, packaging, feed, capital equipment and general supplies) to support day to day and long term business requirements by customs duty/exemption, government subsidies, and any other government interaction related to customs clearance for import and export. He will be responsible of controlling the compilation, application and refund of all duty exemptions. This will be achieved by overseeing and managing an Import Support Function for inbound and outbound logistics as well as the management of a Ministry Liaison function.
SkillsQualifications:
Essential
Educated to degree level or acceptable equivalent experience, with major focus in a business or technical discipline preferably purchasing, supply, and/or materials management and logistics. Well acquainted with the government regulations in respect of transport and customs clearance. Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic languages.
Desirable
Formal qualification in purchasing, supply, and/or materials management, from a recognized professional association. Fluency in other languages requiring him to conduct the company business.
Experience:
Essential responsibilities executed (Generic Description)
- At least seven years management experience in customs clearance.
- He has been working in an environment with diverse needs and sources of supply, experienced man manager.
Desirable responsibilities (Generic Description)
Logistics and freight forwarding experience is a desirable.
Worked in a government organization having liaison with customs clearance.
