Job Description
Position Summary:
Plans, organizes and administers program property control activities. Maintains property control systems to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and contract requirements.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Maintains property accounting tasks at the program office or site level in accordance with contractual requirements and company policies.
2. Maintains contractor program property control systems.
3. Maintains program and automated property system at the site or program office level.
4. Monitors and audits property control functions to include receipts, storage, issue and accountability functions.
5. Oversees monitoring of subcontractor property system to ensure compliance with property clauses of the subcontracts.
6. Maintains property status reporting to include lost, damaged, destroyed, or excess disposition reporting.
7. Maintains special and annual inventory processes to include planning, scheduling, adjustments and reporting results in accordance with contract requirements.
8. Provides guidance and technical assistance to operating departments concerning supply consumptions records.
9. Provides management with report and property status for budgetary purposes.
10. Interface with U.S. Government auditors performing property control audits, where applicable.
Skills
1. High school education or equivalent.
2. Fifteen (15) years experience in property or materials control functions of which three years must have been at the supervisory or higher level and with the U.S. Military or a U.S. Foreign Military Sales contractor operating in the Middle East.
3. Must be computer literate and proficient with the menu driven materials control programs, Microsoft software and applications and have hands-on experience with section 45 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
4. Must read, write and speak English with no degree of difficulty.
5. Must have or be able to obtain a Saudi Arabian driving license for light vehicles
