Responsibile for All Administrative staff in the department.-The incumbent identifies and recommends strategies to maintain and improve the patient care services provided by the department. He/She is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of strategy, policies and programs. Has direct responsibility for coordinating all marketing activities to promote the departmental services.
Duties and Responsibilities:-Plans, directs and coordinates all marketing, financial and administrative efforts toward the accomplishment of the department′s objectives and growth plans.-Directs marketing activities to assure that current and potential patients receive the best service possible. Develops strategic relationships at high levels with VIP patients to accomplish this task.-Formulates and implements strategies and tactics for dealing with VIP accounts in liaison with the finance (UCR) department. -Maintain interface with departmental personnel to ensure there is adequate space and facilities for patient car5e and coordination of facilities.-Oversees patient care flow while redirecting and allocating resources.-Obtains adequate information to identify and intervene in actual and/or potential safety issues.-Collaborates with clinical and support staff to foster delivery of quality care.-Regularly conducts assessment of structure, infrastructure, systems, processes and staffing and recommend action to improve Department′s performance.-Continuously analyzes staffing, financing, operations, policies systems, and procedures to ensure effective and efficient operations and placing the Department in a position to adapt quickly to internal and external change.-Monitors department compliance of operational policies and procedures.-Assists in the establishment of a positive image for the department. Ensures the coordination of the development of program materials including educational and marketing materials, websites, forms nd reports.-Serves as an advisor to the department head on non-medical issues including strategic planning and departmental hiring and disciplinary practices.-Performs other tasks and duties within the scope of the knowledge, skills and experience required for the job, as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
-6 Years in program coordination with 3 of those in a management %2f supervisory role. Managemetn experience in healthcare %2f physician office practice management that includes budget%2c space and personnel management.%0d%0a-Experience must include establishing a new service.%0d%0a-Ability to identify and develop opportunities to create higher value%2c efficiency and quality through technology and improved processes.%0d%0a-Strong critical thinking%2c problem solving and attentiveness to detail as required.%0d%0a-Willing and able to confront difficult choices.%0d%0a-Work requires handling light weight materials or equipment with no special speed or exertion.
