Plans, implements and evaluates strategies and work flow procedures to enhance current processes and meet organizational goals, objectives, and deadlines. Promotes customer service and contract evaluation Maintaining good working relationships with outside customers. Perform special assignments and projects as required. Responsible for statistical operational reports and analysis of data.
•Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.•Ability to assess the relative terms and conditions of Third Party Payer policies.•Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.•Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities•Ability to supervise and train employees to include organizing, prioritizing and scheduling work assignments.•Interviewing skills, hiring, evaluating, training and development of staff.•Ability to develop and deliver presentations.•Costing analysis, coding knowledge procedures (in CPT, DRG).•Ability to use independent judgment and to manage and impart confidential information.•Knowledge and understanding of the principles and procedures for the investigation and processing of insurance claims.•Knowledge of budgeting cost estimating and fiscal management principles and procedures.•Ability to develop and maintain record keeping systems and procedures.•Ability to investigate and analyze information for process enhancement.•Computer Literate and related software applications.
