Job Description
The senior pre-sales sales engineer will be responsible for all technical aspects of the sales process. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge. The senior pre-sales engineer is responsible for identifying issues that may affect customer satisfaction and proactively working with the customer to solve the issues. Developing and maintaining relationships with key individuals within the customer accounts and becoming a trusted adviser to these individuals is a key skill required for success. Candidate will also be responsible for shortening the sales cycle by overcoming technical hurdles and coming up with innovative solutions that address the customer requirements. Drive sales with technical expertise, account management skills, sales ability and a superior customer focus. He must be able to present the company’s platform architecture, as well as identify key business values. He must have solid communication skills, sales ability, technical expertise, and work well in a team.
Responsibilities:
• Present the company’s vision and technologies, strategy, and product roadmaps to executives, technical management and technical engineers.
• Develops and delivers clear, concise, coordinated presentations, executive facing documentation and advice to customers on complex environments based on input from customers.
• Provide expert technical and business pre-sales support for the products.
• Support sales team at customer sites either remotely or on site.
Skills
• Bilingual skills (read, write and speak) in Arabic & English required (German is a plus).
• 5+ years of experience in technology related work, the last five of which should be in Pre-sales.
• Very good understanding of e-security (traffic shaping, reverse proxy).
• Strong customer facing and relationship building skills
• Must be effective in working both independently and in a team setting.
• Excellent presentation, communication and convincing skills, both written and oral are required
• An Engineering Degree or equivalent is required.
