This role will interface with SSFL’s Supply Chain and Manufacturing business areas and its managers and system users to define, design, implement, train and document business processes and reporting solutions. This position will work closely with an extended cross functional team of SAP Process Analysts and Super Users who are subject matter experts in various modules of SAP. The incumbent will have subject matter expertise in Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing and Materials Management processes.
Responsibilities will include:
• Driving improvements and enhancements in manufacturing, warehouse, shipping and laboratory sites by Identifing opportunities for process improvements either in existing designs or by adopting new functionalities available in ECC 6.0
• Development of Business Requirements Documents, business processes and procedures, work instructions, and other detailed user related and support documentations.
• Cross-functional work with Procurement, Supply Chain Planning, SAP Development and Integration, ABAP, Security, SAP Basis, Operations, and other teams as necessary to resolve technical, process, and master data issues
• Perform as a value added team member in various process improvement initiatives
• Understanding and supporting integration issues that affect the end to end supply chain processes of inbound, outbound and reverse logistics
• This role will assist and coordinate aspects of on-going cross-functional projects as required.
• University/college degree in a related field
• Business and technical experience with Supply Chain Planning and Execution in an SAP application environment
• Minimum 5 year with SAP PP/MM modules
• Possess strong supply chain, logistics and operations knowledge
• Familiar with Supply Chain Management reporting requirements
• Project management experience, with a demonstrated ability to deliver projects and tasks on-time
• Demonstrate effectiveness in meeting with users and middle management to define complex business requirements in sufficient detail to help determine the appropriate SAP configuration or development required, or to document why the requirement cannot be satisfied by an SAP-based solution.
