A member of the Bahrain Sales Team with responsibility for achieving life insurance/takaful sales targets. Responsible for procuring new business by obtaining new clients and servicing exiting clients in Bahrain.
Other role activities:
• Ensuring effective handover of Bank Introductions from Bank Staff
• Would have to strike rapport with respective branch staff in order to ensure effective Bank Introductions and approach their Walk In customers
• Getting Bank Introductions from and writing proposals for customers.
• Not just selling to a bank customer but also getting referrals from the every person met. Relationship Management with bank manager/staff
• Establishing & strengthening relationship with branch manager & staff to gain more Bank Introductions from them.
• Following up on high net-worth leads given by the bank staff.
• Involvement in work site activities ( making products awareness presentations at the branches and staff contests)
• Prospecting in assigned areas & cold calling.
• Taking responsibility of the assigned geographical area, fulfilling leads of the area & prospecting new business from the assigned areas.
• Closing sale and following up on issuance.

• Explain options to prospective customers and businesses and assist them in purchasing appropriate insurance policies

• Deliver best in class customer service – pre & post sale.
• Cross selling campaigns for existing customers

• Prepare and implement a plan of action to research and identify new business prospects from within agreed target areas, and follow-up on referrals from existing clients
• Use defined sales techniques to undertake prospecting and develop a pipeline of potentially profitable new business enquiries
• Maintain accurate records and produce relevant documentation
• Efficient management of time, cost effectiveness of activities and travelling, and to maximize the time spent in client facing meetings.
• Take inbound calls from clients and dealing with their queries in relation to their quotation and any servicing requirement or existing plans
• Provide management information and statistics in the agreed format within stated deadlines to line manager as an integral part of the Legal & General performance management system
• Observe correct procedures to avoid errors and omissions
• Carry out formal presentations of products using videos and other training aids, attend promotional markets and organize product displays
